Shepherd's Heart Old Orthodox Fellowship

Busy yourself with your own faults, and not with other people’s and the workshop of your mind will not be despoiled. – St. Mark the Ascetic.

__ One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism

We acknowledge to the following as essential to our understanding of the ancient Faith:

  1. The historic Creeds, namely: the Apostle's Creed, the Nicene Creed and the Athanasian Creed;
  2. the preaching and hearing of the Gospel of Christ, which calls us to love, sacrifice, repentance, forgiveness, knowledge of self, healing and glorification;
  3. the acceptance of the Canonical Scriptures of both the Old and New Testaments as the reliable Word of God, our understanding of which is guided by the Holy Spirit;
  4. the importance of the Apostolic Succession within the Church of Jesus Christ in order to preserve order and continuity;
  5. the Sacraments instituted by Christ as both inner and visible means of grace;
  6. the wisdom of sacred and living Tradition; and
  7. freedom for the formation of individual conscience, allowing all peoples to worship and grow with God as they are led by the Holy Spirit.
