"I cannot persuade myself that without love to others, and without, as far as rests with me, peaceableness towards all, I can be called a worthy servant of Jesus Christ" St. Basil the Great

_A Dynamic Way of Being Christian

We are part of God's holy Church within the Independent Sacramental Tradition. We see ourselves as a small pre-denominational and continuing Orthodox community. We aspire to be welcoming and compassionate, teaching the Love of Christ as expressed by him in the great commandment: "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself"  (Matthew 22:37-39)

Purpose Statement: The purpose of Shepherd's Heart Old Orthodox Fellowship is to glorify God in all things by loving and serving all of God's people: "So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God" (I Corinthians 10:31)

Mission Statement: The Shepherd's Heart Old Orthodox Fellowship is called to be a Mission community, offering every person a spiritual home wherein each is empowered to live a Gospel-based life and to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.

Vision Statement: We are driven by a desire to spread the Good News of Christ's love to the world in person, word and action.
